Inspired by her heritage, Laura created this Moorland landscape. Featuring mixed textiles including cotton, velvet and tweed in shades of copper, hazel and nut-brown. It is created using free-motion embroidery as well as hand embroidery techniques. The textiles texture and colour was chosen as it is inspired from the sun setting on the Gearrannan blackhouses and surrounding moorland. Frame measures 25cmx25cm.
